My grandfather’s shed.
A place I remember hiding in as a kid.
A place where my PawPaw’s tractor rests, filled with memories of Christmas mornings riding up the street with blankets and cousins in tow.
A place where Tom the cat lived and slept.
A place where an Oscar Meyer Weiner car used to park until one of the grandkids decided it was time to go for a drive.
A place right next to the famous homemade tree swing we used to take full advantage of in the summertime.
A place now untouched, as if it were lost in time as we’ve all grown up.
But what’s not lost are the memories & the grandparents that still live in the house next door.
I love you Pop & Gam. Thank you for our childhood and the love you still have for us today.
I hope this shed continues on & the memories stay forever.
